This song is about listening to a favorite musician rehearse. When I imagine this song, I hear it as very ethereal, mysterious, and romantic. Roommates, neighbors, and listeners at my shows have told me that this is one of my best songs. I would love to hear it recorded in the same style as Sarah McLachlan's "Possession", or Evanescence's "My Immortal".
