Song is about how we love someone knowing they are completely wrong for us, thinking we can somehow change or save them from themselves and fail. We start this process as young children and still continue our mistakes through the years, no matter the age. And how it changes and hurts us. We not only see them through a rose colored glass, we see ourselves, with them, through a rose colored mirror.
