Bobby Hayes was born and raised around Nashville TN November 7th 1972. Bobby recieved his first guitar at the age of only eight. Puchased from a flee market for only twenty dollars by his father. Bobby's mother found a guitar player to give guitar lessons to Bobby. But only after a few short weeks, Bobby lost interest in the guitar lessons, but continued to keep playing the guitar.He learned how to play by ear. Bobby Hayes was born and raised around Nashville TN November 7th 1972. Bobby recieved his first guitar at the age of only eight. Puchased from a flee market for only twenty dollars by his father. Bobby's mother found a guitar player to give guitar lessons to Bobby. But only after a few short weeks, Bobby lost interest in the guitar lessons, but continued to keep playing the guitar.He learned how to play by ear. His first song learned to play was "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers. Bobby continued to play the guitar and singing to his parents for years to come. When Bobby first saw his mother perform live with a local band in Nashville, he knew he would be a performer one day. At the age of thirteen, Bobby joined the junior high school band where he started playing percussion. Bobby's parents purchased him a set of drums because he said he wanted to be a drummer. After a few years playing drums, Bobby joined a rock group in Hendersonville Tn as their drummer.He continued with this and playing guitar until at the age of eighteen where he moved to Memphis Tn. At the age of nineteen he landed his first real gig at a small honkey tonk where he played until he moved back to Nashville just two years later. At the age of twenty-two Bobby was married to Paula Michelle Tacker from Little Rock Ar. At twenty-three Bobby and his wife had their daughter Rebekah. Then a daughter, Wesleigh, two years later. And then their son, Wyatt, in 1998. Bobby continued with his music career around the Nashville area. In 2007, Bobby landed a record deal with a small independant label based in Salem, Mo. He cut his second album, "Too Many Horses" in September 2007. Still today you can hear Bobby Hayes playing and singing in all types of venues in and around the Nashville area. Performing great songs from great country artist like George Strait, George Jones, Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, and even the newer country such as Billy Currington, Jamey Johnson, Jason Aldean, and many others. Bobby also performs songs from rock and roll greats as well such as, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Georgia Satelites, Bob Segar, and Eric Clapton. Please feel free to leave any comments you may have to Bobby.
