Having graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Photography with a major in film production and minor in photography, Christopher Revon went to Paris right after graduation and gained an experience as an assistant to top fashion photographers, including Pierre Chanloup, photographer for Elle Magazine, at Paparazzi Studio. Then after coming back to the US, he worked as an assistant to a line producer during the production of the X Files project: X Files Agrippa. Since then, he has worked as an assistant to different types of photographers: wedding, advertising, architectural and others. As a filmmaker, he has conceived/written, directed, shot and edited two short 16mm films: Bon Jour Mon Amour and Prize Photo while still in film school. Also he participated in a lot of projects including 35mm Panavision Filmmaking Workshop. As a photographer, he has been hired to do different kinds of photography: album cover, editorial beauty, fashion, food, headshots, family portraits, children's portraits, executive portraits, wedding, events, modeling portfolios and others. Although he do shoot digital, he still shoots film depending on the subject matter and the style he is going after. Having been trained in film before digital, he is very proficient in the medium. To him, executing an idea for a photography or film project can be compared to problem solving. Sometimes with just limited equipment, he has created images that seem to have been done with the best of equipment and with a big crew. Even though he has most of the equipment to do most projects, he considers them as tools only, just like a paintbrush and a canvas for a painter. What matters is the artist within. Anyone can take pictures but to create art through photography, a visionary artist is needed. In a way, he is what is called a guerilla artistic photographer and filmmaker.
