Harrisburg native Delonne “D-Bo” Wilbourn is a modern day “Renaissance Man.“ Over the years, he has developed his singing voice and has learned to play many musical instruments such as the drums, piano and guitar. He not only sings, but he is also the writer, composer and co-producer in all of his songs, as well as many others. Aside from music, he also loves to draw and is an accomplished painter. His popularity in Central Pennsylvania has really began to “skyrocket”. He has been featured on many of Harrisburg’s largest stages such as The American MusicFest, Kipona, and recently, Harrisburg’s Annual New Years Eve Celebration at Market Square. Along with his brother E-Wil, D-Bo is the featured act at this year’s Omega Psi Phi Mardi Gras. He has also been featured at The Gingerbread Man, Mr. G’s, Shane’s City Limits, The Midtown Tavern and many other local venues. However, he considers the highlight of his career to be his guest appearance on “The Shaashawn Dial Show,” formerly of 1400 The Touch. There is also a very accomplished mind behind his unique and pleasant voice. He attend Temple University on a full athletic scholarship, where he majored in Electrical Engineering, minored in African American Studies, and played football. He graduated from Temple University in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and the confidence to take on the world. Today he is an accomplished poet, musician, singer, songwriter, and producer. His versatility is unmatched and his creativity is seemingly endless. His way of thinking is completely abstract, and different from most, resulting in a unique, and compelling sound. His breathtaking lyrics combined with moving melodies result in R&B music of the highest quality. His music ranges from the smooth sounds of Neo Soul, to Funk, Hip Hop, and Classic R&B. He has even created a new form of music that he likes to call R&R&B or “Rock’n Rhythm & Blues” which combines the sounds of Rock and R&B. With his albums entitled “Superhero,” “Second Coming,” and the popular compilation with E-Wil called “The Capital Movement,” D-Bo plans to revolutionize the music industry. His purpose is to touch as many lives as he can by making music that everyone can relate to while utilizing the gifts that God has blessed him with.
