Every Gyrlz Fantasy
Antuan Savey (Tweezy) and Aaron Mitchell (Mitch) are amongst the avant-garde artist in the music industry. The two young men display a level of talent that is rare and destined to top the charts. With a natural talent to sing, write and produce EGF stands out from the rest. Not many young groups mention the likes of Stevie Wonder, Gym Class Heroe’s, Black Eye Peas, Donny Hathaway, and Tu Pac as inspiration in the same breath. But it’s diversity that inspires them, not to mention their unique style. They grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma musically blending a hybrid of Pop, R&B, hip-hop, and soft rock. EGF has graced the stage opening up for artist like Jewell Santana, Lil Bootsy, Young Joc, Nappy Roots, Paul Wall, Bobby Valentino, Pretty Ricky, Lil’Flip, and Scare Face. Being in rotation on 103.9 in Texas, K 98 Jams and 103.5 in Lawton Oklahoma has helped to keep a strong buzz on the group. EFG has worked with artist Adina Howard and Flo Ryder. In a genre of music that typically glamorizes violence, the degradation of women and the acquisition of all the luxuries money can buy; EGF has built their foundation on talent.
Tweezy was born in Heidelberg Germany. Tweezy grew up an only child and started singing at the age of 5. Being an army brat Tweezy has travled the world and has been exposed to all genera’s of music. His musical roots stem from his mother and father. Tweezy was encouraged to learn different instruments. He currently plays the drums, piano, saxophone, and has recently picked up the guitar.
Mitch was born in Lawton Oklahoma and has lived in Germany and Holland. Aaron started singing at the age of 8. He credits his musical abilities to his father and grandfather. Writing is Aaron’s first love. With the natural camaraderie that comes with friendship and long hours of producing music together, the group shares a passion for making a unique contribution to both the R&B and mainstream hip-hop scenes.
“In hip-hop sometimes, people may look the part but lack in the originality department,” Mitch says. “I’ve never liked being compared with other artists, the whole ‘they sound like this or that particular artist.’ I want people to hear our album, and make their own decision about how we sound.”
We want our shows to be one that everyone can come to and walk away anticipating our next release.” Tweezy says. “Our music isn't for one specific demographic; it's for anyone with a pulse. “We want to make a mark as a new style of music.” And if there’s one thing for sure about EGF Every Girls Fantasy, it’s not like anything you’ve heard before. Whether it’s the R&B, Rock , Hip Hop, or Reggae the group’s sound is sure to capture the listener.
