Labeled "The best thing to come out of Auburn since Bo Jackson", Hightide Blues took the stage for the first time in 2006 and has been gracing hundreds of stages for thousands of fans ever since. Their sound is a throw back to roots rock with a modern twist and an original delivery that's in a category of its own. With their high-energy performances and huge fan base, it's no surprise that Hightide Blues has shared the stage with national acts such as Zac Brown Band, Sara Bareilles, Augustana, Rocco Deluca & The Burden, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Umphrey's McGee, Matt Costa, Donavon Frankenreiter, Sister Hazel, Graham Colton, JJ Grey & Mofro, Jason Isbell, The Whigs, Drivin' n' Cryin', Dead Confederate, The Verve Pipe, Pat McGee, and many many more. Their delivery of acoustic and electric guitars with a hard-hitting rhythm section has lead to sold out shows all over the Southeast and won't be stopping there. Hightide Blues played many festivals across the USA including Bonnaroo, SXSW, Hangout Music Festival, BamaJam, City Stages, Lynyrd Skynryd's Simple Man Cruise, Florida Music Festival, and many more. They've toured coast to coast and have a new full length album due out late summer of 2010 produced by Atlanta, GA based producer Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra, etc). "The best thing to come out of Auburn since Bo Jackson." -Rock 100.5 Atlanta "Hightide Blues brought the house down. Easily the best band of the night, the Blues boys were a four-piece full of fire and brimstone boiling and blowing us all away.” –BMI Showcase "I gotta tell you, this band has that certain somethin' somethin'. I can feel it in my gut." -Scott Register (Reg's Coffee House) “By closing time of this EP, you'll be MySpacing these boys to see when you can shake and sweat with the show live onstage. This band's sound is big and accessible - plain and simple. The Bama boys' sound is everything you ever liked about The Black Crowes, Ryan Adams, Lynyrd Skynyrd et al, with an alarming immediacy of youth and young manhood.” –Metromix Atlanta “..a unique sound that brings something different to the festival. They've got strong fan bases, and they'll keep going after Bonnaroo.” -Creative Loafing From the first chord to the last note, these guys kicked ass. -Sixthman (Lynyrd Skynyrd Simple Man Cruise 2010) -Featured "On The Rise" Artist in Relix Magazine June 2009 -Featured in PASTE MAGAZINE September 2009 -Winner of Nashville's Premier Radio Station Lightning 100's Music City Mayhem 2010
