Jailar Tabugay Wrona (born October 29, 1988), better known by his stage names JayT and Jailar, is a 20 year old producer/writer/rap/rnb artist. Born and raised in the Philippines, and came to Canada at the age of 9. The son of Marites Tabugay and Larry Libunao, and is of Spanish and Filipino decent. Three years after his birth, his father walked out, leaving Jailar and his mother alone. Jailar never saw his father again when he was growing up. He had moved to Brampton with his mother and step-dad and his siblings to pursue a new life. Three years later, as a small child he had been exposed to West Indie Music by his childhood friend, who had come in his life the moment he came. As a young child, he became interested in hip-hop and rnb, performing and lip singing to artists such as 2pac and Notorious B.I.G. and RnB groups and artist such as Boys II Men, All 4 One and Usher. Around the age of 13 Jailar had found the ambition to rap and sing, and was under the name JayT and joining the group Music with Momentum around 2006, when he performed his first gig at The ROSE THEATRE infront of an audience who payed money to watch him and a couple of other artist perform songs.
Though he would later struggle with school and other priorities and set by life, he decided to take a break and seek priorities first to fend for himself and support his family enduring hardships. But he later stepped back into the game not only as a rapper/singer during his break he found an interest in acting. So in the summer of 2007, he pursued his career to be a triple threat and experienced the industry being in several national broadcasted programs, and was in a Music Video, Much Music After Party Promo, and Music Video. With the exposure Jailar is ready for anything, following his goal to be a triple threat in the entertainment industry. Hoping to make it one day.
