J. D'wayne (Biography) I was born in Fort Belvoir, VA in 1980. I was raised in Woodbridge, VA by my mother and father, who were devoted Christians deeply involved in church. So, at the tender age of seven years old, I was introduced to singing in the Church youth choir. It was more of a demand than a choice at the time, but I grew to love and appreciate music. I was required to be involved in the church choir until the age of 18. I took on an instrument, the clarinet, in the sixth grade. I played for seven years through middle and high school, in the school band. I obtained many accolades during my tenure in these bands and developed a strong passion for the way music was arranged. It led me to learn to play the drums for my church from the ages of 15 to 18. My freshman year of high school in 1994, I learned to write poetry. It’s funny, I was just trying to impress a girl I liked at the time. It ending up growing into another one of the beautiful talents God has given me. At the age of 18, I graduated from Potomac High School in Dumfries, VA with and Advanced Studies Diploma. I went on to college At V.C.U. (Virgina Commonwealth University) in Richmond, Va in the fall of 98 and meshed these talents together and started Songwriting. I made a difficult decision at that time in my life, and opted out of returning back to college the following semester. It just wasn't what i was really trying to do at the the time, I had no focus or directions. I thank god I finally found my focus of writing and songwriting. It is my passion and I love it. In 2003, I was ready to put my talents to the test and jump into the music industry. I was introduced to Lowa Level Entertainment, and CEO, Keith Mitchell, saw my talent and allowed me to learn the craft of recording at his studio. By watching his artists at the time, Lea Adams, Porche 9-11, and G 3, I learned a lot, and discovered the patience and persistence that is necessary to succeed in this industry. And after three years of patience, I’m finally getting my chance to shine. Lowa Level has now changed its name to M3 Music Group, and although I'm no longer working on a full length CD to be recorded and released by M3 Music Group at this time. I do plan on working with M3 in the near future. Right now I am working on a demo CD to solicit my strong songwriting capabilities to major and independent artists/labels that are interested in obtaining quality songs for various listening audiences. Thanks always for your support an much love. Peace, J. D'wayne
