John Conroy is a singer-songwriter who has touched the lives of everyone who’s heard his music. Growing up with music as his passion, John became a competent musician on both the piano and the guitar. Beginning to write music on the guitar at age 17, John found songwriting as a way to express his feelings while touching people with his music. John spent the remaining years of high school playing coffee houses and concerts around his hometown of Naples, FL. With influences of Dave Matthews, John Mayer, and Gavin DeGraw, John’s music immediately became a part of the acoustic pop explosion in the music industry. After only a year of songwriting, John flew to Nashville to record his first album, “My Home.” With the catchy chorus of the title track, “My Home,” and the meaningful lyrics in “Believe In You,” the album became a hit among his fans of Southwest Florida. After graduating from high school, John headed to college at the University of Notre Dame, eager to touch the lives of more people and expand his fan base. In a few short years, this is exactly what John has done. Playing everywhere from bars in South Bend, IN to hosting his own concerts on campus, John proves to bring a solid crowd wherever he plays. John teamed up with friends Trey Mohr and Michael Spencer to form JTM, a trio that played a variety of songs and sounds on the campus of Notre Dame. He has had the opportunity to open for some big names and will start touring again in the Spring of 2009.
