Kunesha Walker is an R&B artist from Phoenix, Arizona. She has been singing since she was fourteen years old. Kunesha has looked up to Mariah Carey, Monica, Tamia, Keyshia Cole, Alicia Keys, & Deborah Cox to name a few. These women have helped her shape her voice & encourage her to keep pursuing her music career as a female artist. Kunesha Walker has been through a lot of experiences & changes in the past few years. She has been through the experiences of working with the “wrong people” & the struggles of being taken serious as woman pursuing her music career. Through trying to find her place in all of the different situations she been in has become a great asset for her mental, personal, & spiritual growth. The business & personal relationships that she has held on to & the ones in which she’s had to let go have all become great lessons in their own ways. They have also become extensions of who she wants to become in her career, not only as a female artist, but a woman in general. Kunesha has learned to recognize her capabilities in her talent as well as her image. Through all of her experiences, she has taken some things positive out of it and it has helped to not hinder her in a lot ways. She is grateful and excited for where she is at and where she is going. Kunesha is hoping that she can truly make a difference and encourage all to continue following their dreams. Kunesha Walker has performed a few times at various local events & charities such as the Arizona State Fair & County Fair, the MLK events, the Black & White Charity Ball: Women against Domestic Violence, Wyndham Hotel, Phoenix Civic Space Park, guest performer for Westview High School’s homecoming dance, and some other community events just to name a few. She has also performed a few times at various local clubs/bars such as Stoudamire’s, Bumble Bee’s Soul Food, The Presidential Lounge, Copper State Lounge, Doc’s Place & Famous Sam’s. Kunesha has also sung a few times for her local churches such as Pilgrim Rest & Prayer Assembly.
