They’ve created the most intense live show in St. Louis and mastered a danceable sound that blends disco groove with hair metal intensity and pop sensibility. Last Night’s Vice is a five-piece rock band heading to the next musical level with their unstoppable enthusiasm and unfathomable level of energy. LNV is fastly becoming a crowd favorite in the Midwest’s music scene. “I can’t believe you’re not a national band!” claims 105.7 the Point’s Donnie Fandango. Passion and talent mixed with motivation and sheer determination gives the band an edge, making them stand out as a force to be reckoned with. They’ve recently been named Band of the Week by both The Rock and Roll Report, “their music [is] sour apple Pop Rocks candy to your ears,” and Insidestl.com. Ticketmaster’s New Music Spotlight recognizes LNV as the band that “commands the stage like rock stars.” As Full Throttle magazine’s Band of the Month, the guys pride themselves on their do-it-yourself mentality, taking charge of their own recordings, websites, videos, promotions and show-bookings. They hit the streets of St. Louis nightly handing out thousands of demos and flyers outside dozens of venues. Fans regularly hear them on iheartmusic.com, Clear Channel’s new music and lifestyle destination, and on 105.7 the Point’s Local Show where music guru Cornbread plays only the hottest bands in the STL local scene. Not only is it about commanding the stage, but LNV also likes to bring attention to bigger issues at large. The band helped raised funds for cancer patients at the “Rock 4 the Cause” concert at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. They also participated in the benefit concert “Help End Child Slavery in Haiti” hosted by Lindbergh High School. They brought awareness to the LiveFeed charity organization (a grassroots group dedicated to making sure no child goes to bed hungry) by rocking out at the McKendree University benefit show in Illinois. And they entertained the crowd at the annual Dan Kelley Christmas Show that supports North County Food Pantry & Homeless Shelter in St. Charles. They’re rock guys with hearts. As long time friends, the band has experienced many changes together, each more valuable than the last. LNV is home to the soulful and powerfully-driven voice of Brandon House. Joe Fitzsimmons and Jordan Phoenix freak out on the guitars with noisy effects influenced by blues riffs while playing over the hip-thumpin’ rhythm section of Chris Blake’s bass and Andrew Ghiassi’s drums. Together, the band gets you off your ass and keeps you dancing. “Funk is smeared all over these guys, it drips from them like sweat, its hard to understand how these white boys fell into such a funky sound, but they do it with precision and soul!” – STLUniverse Review Collectively, LNV has been thrilled to play with Story of the Year (Maverick), Fall Out Boy (Fueled By Ramen), Bowling For Soup (Jive), Hawthorne Heights (Victory), A Change of Pace (Immortal), Men, Women and Children (Warner Bros.), Lorene Drive (Lobster), Family Force Five (Tooth & Nail), Bedouin Soundclash (SideOneDummy), Calico System (Eulogy), as well as a long West Coast stint of the Vans Warped Tour.
