Rough Justice is a hard hitting 3 piece original progressive rock/metal band from Brantford Ontario Canada. While all guyz are still under the age of 20; they are already known for their innovative jaw dropping musician skills and original edgy tunes, which are demonstrated with their guitar driven songs and the sonic power that is projected through amplification.
Rough Justice has a thick, massive sound, characterized by energetic guitar riffs and solos, emphatic beats & rhythms, vigorous dense bass-and-drum sounds, and an overall in your face loudness. Live performances display band members' commanding instrumental skills and an obvious onslaught of sound which sweep the listener into their powerful volume, and provide a shot of youthful vitality.
Brad Bridges ~ Drums/Vocals: Brad’s essence is creating a loud, constant beat for the band using speed, power, and precision. His obvious skills in drumming require an exceptional amount of endurance so that he is able to play the intricate patters with considerable speed, coordination, and dexterity.
Billy Minnery ~ Lead Guitar/Vocals: Like his idol, Billy is a tone chaser. His obvious Van Halen influences can be seen and heard as he uses shredding, tapping, and high frequency feedback during his work. Billy plays with harmonics, vibrato, and tremolo picking which he combines with his rhythmic sensibility and a melodic approach.
Nick Bourget ~ Bass: Nick’s bass guitar provides the low-end sound crucial to making the music heavy. His bass lines vary widely in complexity, from holding down a low pedal point as a foundation to doubling complex riffs and licks along with the lead guitar. He is the low frequency bottom end and then all other elements are then added on top of that foundation.
All 3 members of Rough Justice contribute to the song writing. Billy writes the instrumental core part of the songs and then Brad and Nick then work together on the orchestration and arrangements. Nick provides the bed of the song, Billy salts it with the flashy showcase and Brad nurtures the groove and the swing of the songs. Brad is the primary lyricist of the band, sharing song writing partnership with Billy who is the primary instrumentalist. Billy is the music and Brad is the lyrics. Nick fills all the spaces in between both; basically he provides the cement within the cracks.
