I first got interested in music at the age of 6 years old. At age 11 I took guitar lessons and learned to play. I play rhythm guitar. My Dad was a Gospel singer with the Lambs quartet in the 1950's. He opened for Sam Cooke and the Soul Stirrers, The Alabama Blind Boys, and the Dixie Hummingbirds. My Dad's Sister, My Aunt Marie, gave me the name SharBaby at the age of 5 years old. I have been playing and singing for 44 years now. I can play a little bit of everything, but I choose to play and sing the blues. I will be touring the UK this Spring in April-May 31st, 2010. I am from Birmingham, Alabama. I have done a lot of festivals, including the Late Willie King and more. I am also a member of the Alabama Blues Project. I have cd's out on cdbaby, tunecore, itunes etc. I will play music as long as I can. I have met a lot of great musicians on this road.
