From Steam-Train Rhythms to Chicago Shuffle Beats to soulful slow Blues numbers, the pairing of Jay Olaszek's (Small Shiny Things, Grasslands Acoustic Rock’’n Roll Trio, Ex-Five Year Jacket) bass and Jim Murray's (Nightflight, RPM, Soul Shakedown, Michael McDermott) drums make the music a total groove. Skip's rhythm section is a unified pounding heartbeat resulting from a rich blend of their music theory backgrounds with years of studio work and live performances.
