Spencer Teeter Band

About Spencer Teeter Band

Kitchener, Canada

Enter onto the scene: The Spencer Teeter Band, a rock/alternative group hailing from Kitchener, Ontario who’s starting to make some BIG noise on the global radar!

With a comparison sound to artists like Matchbox 20 and Sister Hazel, the band’s fan base is spreading like wildfire since front man Spencer Teeter’s return to Canada this past spring from playing professionally as a solo acoustic artist in Venice, Florida and San Francisco, CA.

While hitting the road in Cali playing various local bar and gallery shows, Spencer Teeter also hit the studio to record an EP with super producer Adam Rossi at CM Studios in April of ‘08.

FAST FORWARD

….November, 2009... while the Spencer Teeter Band is writing songs with a fresh new sound, they catch the ears of Ray Los, CEO of Hamptons Entertainment, Inc., the largest independent talent agency in the world. The band was requested to submit material to the company’s True Sound Management subsidiary management label for recording artists.
Their song “Sometimes We’re In Love” was the first one listened to, and the one leading Mr. Los to contact the band and offer them not only it’s management services, but a 1 album contract with Hamptons Entertainment, Inc.’s former Motown subsidiary label Ocean Front Records, complete with national distribution in the U.S. & Canada and worldwide Promotion, Marketing, Booking & Publicity.

So it looks like The Spencer Teeter Band is starting 2010 off with a running start, hopefully one that heads straight for the Juno & Grammy stage!
