Hey Y'all! My name is Tammi Wilder Woodall, but you can just call me Wildwood. I am a country singer/songwriter. I come from a musical family. I grew up listening to and loving country music. Hey Y'all! My name is Tammi Wilder Woodall, but you can just call me Wildwood. I am a country singer/songwriter. I come from a musical family. I grew up listening to and loving country music. In the last 10 years, I have sort of stopped listening to popular country music, because it just isn't what I call country anymore! (See Alan Jackson and George Srait, "Murder On Music Row" for more details!) Over the last 10 years, I have been in various bands, and sung all sorts of styles of music, from pop to disco to classic rock. But when I write, it always comes out COUNTRY! I took a stab at making it in the music industry (90's-ish), only to find out that I don't much care for the "industry" part of it all! ;oD What I really love is the music and the performing. It's all I'm really interested in. I recently went to Nashville to do some recording. I just wanted to get some of my original stuff recorded in a professional studio, with professional sessions musicians and an experienced producer. One of these days, the pipes will fail me (although I will NEVER stop singing, if it is nothing more than a sing-a-long in the community room of whatever home my children are paying to keep me in, so as to keep me OUT of their spare rooms! ;oD ). I want to have something to share with the grandkids, to show them what Grammi Tammi could do, once upon a time. Why Nashville? DUH! It's NASHVILLE! So... I have no big dreams or expectations. Just a wish to share my music with anybody who may like it. I am not a comfortable artist, in the studio. I was 100% convinced that I would fall over dead before I got through this first round of recording, but thanks to the lovely musicians and a magician of a producer, (Steve Haggard, Wild Oats), and a very kind and patient engineer, I not only got through it but found out that recording can ACTUALLY be fun! I will be going back for at least three more rounds (3 songs each time). It's not cheap, but this is one of those cases where you get what you pay for! Worth every cent, in my opinion, and I kinda can't wait to get back to it, and I also kinda can't believe I just said that! ;oD Anyhow- I hope you like any songs you find here. If you do, would love to hear it. If you don't.... ummm... just keep that to yourself! ;oD ;oD
