WireRose embodies an original and magnetic, guitar driven, rock/indie sound that has commercial appeal yet remains unique in sound and feel. The five piece group offers rock music that can stand the test of time with its roots in guitar/bass, drums and its unique vocal offering.
WireRose is currently bringing its first studio album release to the masses. Completed mid 2009 at Marigolds and Monsters recording studio in Atlanta, Georgia, the album of 12 original songs flows seamlessly from start to finish. The driving guitar/bass assault of "End of Me" and the haunting yet approachable build of "Heavy Rain" and its ebow/lead guitar climax, take the listener through a new yet familiar journey of setting real life experiences to this rock/indie soundscape.
WireRose offers lyrics that encompass stories, relationships, and deeper level meaning than what is seen. It's message can touch the very core of the listener. The haunting vocals/lyrics of singer, song-writer/guitarist, Dusty Griffith spill a passionate and a personal side of life that most will be able to relate to. The brilliant lead guitar work of self taught guitarist Chris Carson brings a seasoned, unique but familiar edge to envelope the total creative sound. The talented, diverse and experienced guitarist David Woodham rounds out the three-guitar front on rhythm and lead; and the broad musical background of bass guitarist Cheyenne Smith lends still greater cohesion and chemistry to the band’s creativity. Last but not least the lifelong brilliant drumming and percussions of Edgar Clark rounds out the abilities and talents of this group of musicians all of which reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
The band is currently playing locally to 350+ venues in and around Atlanta, Georgia.
