The Attraction are an accomplished band and have opened for many national touring acts including The Damned Things (Island Def Jam), Anberlin (Universal Republic), Bad City (Atlantic Records), The Ataris (Columbia Records), Lucky Boys Confusion (Elektra), Company of Thieves (Wind Up Records), and Janus (Red Light/ILG Records). The Attraction have headlined House of Blues and Metro in Chicago and had their single "The Bleeding" played on regular rotation on Q101. The song was also included on Q101's Local 101 Volume 3 CD that is available at all Borders stores and other online retailers. Q101 has also selected The Attraction to play at many of their on air and live events including the upcoming Q101 & Miller Lite The Damned Things Free Show, Cubs Opening Day Live on the Radio with Anberlin, and their 2008 Block Party Summer Festival. Q101 have also included The Attraction in their top 20 Local Bands Contest to play at this year's Q101 Jamboree 2011. The Attractionn's combination of old-school industrial and modern rock/pop gives The Attraction a completely unique and fresh sound that is uncommon in today’s bland rock market. With years of experience between them, including multiple headlining slots at House of Blues Chicago and Metro, and featuring members from long time Chicago favorites Logan Square/15 Minutes Late, The Gelheads, and Best Days Behind, The Attraction is no stranger to touring and performing. The Attraction truly is a band that can appeal to people of all ages and demographics, dealing with deeply human emotions and expressions. You can see The Attraction playing some of Chicago’s best venues as well as setting their sights on the Midwest and beyond in 2011.
