the " drums " for this song consist of a hi-hat, a bjork cd hitting my knee for the snare, banging on a thesaurus open about 2 / 3 of the way, i tapped on the mic at the dome for the bass drum and reinforced the snare hits with a tap on the shaft of the mic...since i had a reverb effect going, each tap is doubled to give the 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 effect. it's mainly about life, hard times, depression and the great music of Bad Brains, coinciding with the amazing poetry of Emily Dickinson
