Windowpane, the most popular independently distributed hard rock band in the Seattle/Washington area, has recently been winning over many other cities in the U.S. & Canada as a support act on major international tours. Windowpane recently tracked their 4th full length album at London Bridge studios in Seattle, WA that is scheduled to be released in January, 2016. "We were in our jam room 4 nights a week, every week, for over a year writing, woodshedding and working new songs for this album." Says guitarist Tony Abreu. "I would say that this is by far our best body of work yet!"    Windowpane's heavy, bouncy approach to American, dirty guitar driven Rock & Roll is proving to be extremely sought after. Foregoing fancy stage props and theatrics, the band's backdrop consists of vintage stacks and fronted with low slung, classic guitars. Their sound is raw, gritty, aggressive and dark, tailored with an angry blues essence that bounces with deep & powerful grooves. Their lyrics are honest, open, and relate to the current venerabilities and frustrations that plague so many. Their high-energy, emotionally fueled live performances have become something of legend in Seattle's highly creative and critical rock scene. This coupled with infectious melodies and the band's reputation of 'nothing but integrity' has helped Windowpane generate a tremendous Northwest fan base, consistently packing in crowds of over a thousand at their own local performances for the past 4 years straight. The consistent overwhelming crowd response that Windowpane has received out on the road as a support act, as well as extremely large numbers of on-site-sales in every single city that they have hit, is enough proof that they can create the same effect all over North America. Windowpane has moved more than 10,000 CDs completely independently to date, the majority of which were sold within only 31 shows on the road as an "unknown artist" to unsuspecting rock fans.   "Windowpane's music really connects with people! It doesn't mater if someone is into country or heavy metal, if they see Windowpane live, they are leaving that venue a Windowpane fan!" -Jolene, program director at KISW 99.9fm (Seattle's #1 fm rock station)   Windowpane's singer/guitarist- Glenn Cannon & bassist- Mark Harris assembled the first incarnation of "Windowpane" (named after the popular L.S.D. of the '70s) when they were attending high school in Cumberland, Maryland. Shortly after moving the band to Seattle, word of this new extremely talented power trio began drawing fans of hundreds to local shows. The addition of Guitarist- Tony Abreu, known from his work in other popular Seattle bands, strengthened the group's local following further while bringing another creative element and fuller, more aggressive sound to the band. Windowpane's popularity stedily grew to pulling over a thousand fans to their CD release party of their last full-length release- "Daybreak," and they have been consistently packing in crowds of that size and larger in Seattle since. The band has recently completed several highly successful tours of the U.S & Canada, including tours in support of such artists as Five Finger Death Punch, Soulfly & Queensryche. Windowpane has since been chosen to play on Rockstar Energy’s UPROAR Festival two years in a row, asked to play KISW’s “Pain in the Grass" festival and recently honored to headline to multi thousands at Seattle's annual, world famous "Hempfest." Shifting all focus to the writing and completion of the next full length album, Windowpane has locked themselves in their rehearsal space for over a year, working away like mad scientist to bring their song writing craft to a new level. "We've learned a lot about what people REALLY respond to, out on the road... and this album will reflect that." says bassist Mark Harris   A full length documentary/film on the band titled "There is No Such Thing as the Record Label Fairy" will be debuted in many U.S. film festivals in 2016. Windowpane is currently making plans to hit the road following the January release of the new album. "People are really responding to what we're putting out there, in every single city we play! We can't wait to get back out on the road with THIS material!" says singer/guitarist Glenn Cannon.
