On August 5th, 1987 Christina Joly was born in Brooklyn, NY. Born to Marie Jerome and Rene Joly, a musician himself, later helped to groom Chrissy to understanding the technicalities it would take in order to become a great singer.
Between the ages of 2 & 16 Chrissy grew up in Queens, NY. It was during these years that her talent was recognized.
During her years at Frances Lewis High school, Chrissy developed her song writing ability and her nack for performing. The possibilities of her becoming the next R&B sensation were endless. At the age of 17 she recorded her first song with Hot2Def Entertainment. Titled “Girl Like Me” created by Dj Spade.
Originally starting out with Hot2Def Entertainment, Chrissy is now managed by Frank White head and founder of Home Team Management but also continues to work with Hot2Def.Chrissy has continued to develop her stage presence and songwriting ability.
Chrissy has been in several showcases such as Protégé Magazine, and Faces in the Crowd; coming in second place with requests to return each time. She has also performed at The Bitter End and has an upcoming performance in 2010. Currently Chrissy can be found performing weekly on Wednesdays at the Five Spot in Brooklyn, N.Y..
She is currently working with Producer Steve "Keeyz" McGuire but has worked with a variety of other very talented producers; Dj Spade and Studio Mike to name a few. She has also worked in collaboration with up and coming artist Mystry who is the 1st Lady of Hot2Def Entertainment.
