2nd Committee

The local group 2nd Committee is growing of Fans and Followers by the day.  They consist of three individuals who ripped the Durham, North Carolina Hip-Hop circuit single handedly.  Syncere Legend, NuNu Da Guru, and Rio Stringz join forces to not only create music with a passion but to create a lifestyle and friendship for them and their brotherhood as well.

Coming together in 2011, these three men rap, write, produce, mix and master their music.  Rio Stringz a southern boy makes the beats.   He also rhymes in a way where most have considered him from up north.  He is very well rounded.  Syncere Legend is the animated one.  With his cerebral punch lines and amazing hooks, He adds the animation and entertainment to the group.   NuNu Da Guru is the raspy voice boss. Simple yet easy to follow, his lyrics hit deep as well.  Growing up in everything from poverty, gang’s death, violence, and more they display these memories in their tracks.  Not all deep and riddled with harsh reality depictions, 2nd Committee was formed to also change music and to make hip hop fun again.  

Even though they sometimes feel Rap music has lost its essence, they are inspired by their family, friends, and fans to bring it back hopefully joining the ranks of their music influences as well.  This includes Michael Jackson, Jay Z, Biggie, Big L, 2Pac, R. Kelly, Eminem, Nas, Sam Cook, Elvis, and James Brown.
