Acoustic Phases LIVE at the Pioneer Place Theater by Arlo Hennings, Manager of Shawn Phillips
Friday night November 18, 2011 at the Pioneer Place Theater in St. Cloud EMH member and our social media guru Scott Rode got up in front of a sold out house and performed his songs on guitar solo like an old pro. It was his first debut in a public venue and having done it myself I know how nerve wracking that can be LOL. It takes tremendous courage to get up there on stage and put your guts on the line. Scott pulled it off with grace, poise, and delivered his songs to a thunderous round of applause. Thanks Scott for sharing your talent. I’m proud of your accomplishment. Scott, all beautiful. As I sit here Sunday Morning, I really enjoyed the show. Since we first "met" on musicnation 2.5 years ago, I've enjoyed your acoustic styles (and the Takamine). Your vocals have continued to improve to the point of excellence. The recording/production was crystal clear throughout. Seasons, very great vocals. Reflections is an awesome instrumental. Especially liked the slow and soft passages and the fade, and perfect execution! Yer doin' yer homework, lad. Same for We are the Key. Very thought provoking. A wake up call. And unfortunately too few heed similar warnings and progress in the same old ways. Great fade also. Enjoy the videos. Feels like we're sitting in your den watching you live. Keep it all rolling. Always liked everything, now after a good 12-15 minute listen, everything is reaching perfection for you. Keep 'em coming, and continue to pray and hope for mankind and our environs.
