She calls it “alternative-groove-rock” and has been described as enchanting, refreshing, and very much her own. To compare her she’s somewhat as if Alanis & Sarah met Snow Patrol for lunch in the movie Chocolat.
LeCheminant is a Utah native who, for seven years, honed her skills by working with some the best musicians in Nashville. In 2008 she returned to the West coast to reside between Salt Lake City & Los Angeles. She has released three albums to date, “You Never Know” in 2004, “Christmas” in 2006 and “Driven” in 2009.
LeCheminant has performed in various venues around the country including four stages at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Festival. She has opened for Lee Greenwood at a 4th of July Celebration in New Hampshire & has been featured on some of Nashville’s hottest stages including the world famous Wildhorse Saloon. In the fall of ’09 she sang background vocals for Ray Davies of The Kinks in Los Angeles and San Francisco. She has performed live on television, radio stations & live internet broadcasts as well as for charity fundraisers. Her song “Disconnected” was a part of a media exhibit in the Gateway Discovery Children's Museum in Salt Lake City from 2006-2009. “Mirror Mirror” was heard in a commercial for the National Rugby Championships held in Salt Lake City, UT.
