Naquan “Wink Sessionz” Austin, was born not with a “silver spoon in his mouth” but with a rich Shinnecock Indian Heritage, in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, New York. It was his mother’s strong determination and resourcefulness that molded him into the person he is today. Reared under his mother’s heavy hand, she instilled in him a deep respect for his heritage and a desire to develop and express his natural creativity. One of 14 siblings, with 8 brothers and 5 sisters, Naquan was looked up to by his siblings as a role model and example to follow as others depended upon him to “do the right thing”. He is known, even today, as the nephew of the well renowned `hip hop star, Ol' Dirty Bastard”. At the age of thirteen “Da Session” moved to Newport News, Virginia, where he lived with his grandfather who proved to be one of the most positive and influential male role models in his life. “Da Session credits his grandfather for helping him to learn what it takes to be a real man. It was here that he attended and graduated from Menchville High School, but for him more importantly it was during this period that he discovered that he truly had a passion for music. It was in his sophomore year of high school that he realized that the years of music influences that seemed to be running, and yes beating, through his blood needed to find an outlet, because there was no way his creativity could be contained. In 2011 he obtained a degree in computer networking, graduating with a 3.2 average. With Shinnecock Indian Heritage, his mother’s and grandfather’s lessons of determination, pride and resourcefulness, “Da Session” is prepared.  He is a special blend of his own strain of Hip Hop, infused with his natural passion for music, a natural and lyrical prowess which strikes a perfect balance between street and book smarts and all converged together to make him an unstoppable force that must be reckoned with in the Game. Honestly, it’s kind of like cheating lol... “Da Session” is ready to take his place in this rap game giving nothing less than what he expects of himself, and that is definitely a formula for GREATNESS!!!!!!!
