Erik Ekdahl (Drums):
Requirements:
Mics for a basic five piece kit.
Erik isn’t too picky about mics, but suggests shure dynamic mics for the drums and 2 condensers (SM81s or equivalent) for the overheads.
*Drummer plays open-handed so he prefers to always play his own kit unless given adequate time to rearrange a house kit. It is usually faster and easier for him to play his own kit.
He needs adequate space to set up this kit and a monitor so he can make it count.
