History:
After being lead singer for two rock bands out of Beaumont, Texas. I moved to Nashville and pursued a songwriting career as a staff writer for ATV Music - ASCAP and Tuneupon Music – ASCAP.
By the grace of divorce, I returned to Texas and began writing and performing my tunes in Galveston in 1998 and released 11 acoustic CDs and two full band studio releases on my own label. I perform acoustically with, or without, PA. I wrote approximately 1,250 songsl on the island plus 1100 in Nashville.
When I returned to Texas I began to perform my tunes and those of my favorites along the upper Texas Coast . I had a good following on the island and had Friday, Saturday, and Sunday year round weekly bookings for the 10 years in Galveston. I had to retire from Live performance the end of 2008 because of back, neck, and knee problems.
In 2005 my song “War Is Hell” was on the “Operation Helmet” CD sent to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan . I was honored my acoustic/vocal tune was on the CD. I play “Taps” at the end of the song.
