Jim Norcross

I had been happily retired from the band scene for a while, when I got the 'itch' to play again, so, I started Cuban Time Productions with Yoel Diaz & released 'Te llego'. Yoel went on to win the General Motors 'Grande Prix de Jazz' of the Montreal International Jazz Festival, as pianist/composer with the Alex Bellegarde Quartet.
Now, I've put together a new group, The Jim Norcross Project, which gives me a chance to play, write & record with some of the best players around anywhere. Yoel Diaz & Jay Jesse Johnson have always been right there with me. Other members of JNP have included Laszlo 'Chewby' Koos, Kiko Osorio,  Morgan Moore, Kelly Whatling, Nick Thompson, Peter Modos, Jay Norcross & Ray Newton, monsters all. Who will be next? It could be YOU, man!
