Big shoes to fill, indeed. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Sturgis Nikides, whose credits include a stint with Velvet Underground legend John Cale, has been playing the blues since the age of 10. His debut solo CD 'Man Of Steel' received worldwide critical acclaim. Low Society's songs are a mixture of blues, Americana and old school soul music, with lyrics that invoke Mandy's hard scrabble Texas origins.
