About The Elizabeth Kill

Los Angeles, CA

The Elizabeth Kill is a female-fronted, dynamic rock quartet with unique artistry that whispers Garbage, The Cure and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Meticulously shaping their signature sound usually finds the foursome overlooking the Los Angeles skyline from their downtown rehearsal space. The Elizabeth Kill are also well-known for delivering electrifying live performances which are a dazzling balancing act between genuine grit, theatrical bravado, magnetic energy and musical skill.
Like any other journey, there have been twists and turns. Releasing two full-length albums (Self-Titled in 2011 & Building The Automaton in 2013) happened during a period of time punctuated by personnel changes
and the singer’s very serious brush with death nearly halted the recording of their third (Throwing Shadows in mid-2014). With a new appreciation for precious life itself, Sarah Goff and her bandmates Jeremiah Roiko (guitar), Corey Manske (drums) and Adam W. Fauth (bass) are focusing on the future, and their new studio release, “The Other Side of Vain.”

Before looking too far ahead, The Elizabeth Kill continually pays respect to the past by honoring family lineage. Hailing from Codford St. Peter, England, Elizabeth Kill was Sarah’s great, great, great, great grandmother. Elizabeth and her husband had nine children including Sarah Elizabeth (whom Sarah was named after) born Christmas Day in 1809 (1809 is the title of the band’s EP released in 2012). She was the first member of the family to emigrate to the United States, landing in Brooklyn and planting roots for Sarah Goff’s family tree.

For this band, paying homage to the past goes way beyond familial ties to their moniker. With decades of experience behind each member, they are united at the crossroads where magic, music and creativity collide. Sarah loves Jim Morrison. Jeremiah extols Queen. Corey worships Rush. Adam enjoys Pink Floyd. Clearly passionate about entertaining audiences, fiercely protective of the creative process and being artistically self-expressed, The Elizabeth Kill is an evocative force to be reckoned with. Hearing their music is a refreshing thrill. Seeing them perform is an unquestionable must.
