Observe the music Locals A Deadly Wish by Neil Andersen
It is rare to find a unique band in your own backyard, well a farther and bigger backyard but still farely local and definitely a known name in this area. Today I bring you the upcoming Metalcore giants, A Deadly Wish. A Deadly Wish is a five-piece Metalcore group hailing from Southern California consisting of Remy Brunone & Diego Grano, both playing explosive lead & rythym guitar, Eddie Fernandez using all five strings on bass, Jeremy Middleton on drums and Jesse Riggi bringing a well rounded unique style of vocals. A Deadly Wish started in 2009 in Fontana, CA. The band put out an EP entitled " Through Pain Comes Glory" that same year. after playing a handful of shows, the band ran into line up issues and went into hiatus through 2010-2011. After finding two members that fully solidified the band, they began practicing twice a week and within two months, they were back on track. Now based out of San Pedro, the band finished out 2011 with local shows and after a long eight months of playing nonstop shows, A Deadly Wish is stronger than ever. They released an EP titled "The Last Gathering" in February. After that they returned into the studio once again in August 2012 at Love Juice Studios in Riverside, CA. A Deadly Wish recorded two new songs that they are set to release. One is titled "Kill of the Fears" which debuted September, 12 and the other new song is set to release October 2012. Keep an eye out for it and coming this winter, the group are set to hit the studio for the third time to record their EP which will be coming out late December or January. A band that like's to play music and have fun but you can also tell we are a Metalcore band :) #2:Tell us a brief History of your band: A Deadly Wish started in January of 2009 we started writng and put together 6 songs in 5 months we played our first show at chain reaction may 13th and from there ADW has been playing shows ever since. in 2010 we went through some member changes and after a long search we finally have the right people in the band, we just found a solid drummer we are getting him ready for our next Ep coming out early 2012 ! #3: Who are your musical and non musical Influences? our musical influences are :A7X, The Devil Wears Prada, As I Lay Dying, August Burns Read, As Blood Runs Black and the list goes on ! Our non musical influence : Country music LOL ! #4:What are your Dreams and Goals? Tour the country then the world and meet and play alongside the bands that motivate us and get us through hard times while sharing our message. #5:Who writes the Songs and what are they about? Musically our guitarist write the foundation of the music all of us have input in the writing after we have a solid foundation set. we write our songs about our daily struggles through life everybody goes through them we let all of our frustration our through our music. #6: How do you Promote your bands and shows? we promote on Facebook, we hand out flyer's, any way possible to get people to come to our show to hear our music. #7: What do you think about illegal online music downloading? Of course we think it's wrong the musicians should get the credit for all the hard work they have done we have bills just like everyone else so go buy our EP on ITUNES :) #8: What is your outlook on the record industry today? oh man from a close and personal look behind the scene the record industry is a difficult business to be apart of, if you dont know what your doing you can get everything taking away in a heart beat its a cut throat business if your not very careful it's not all fun and games when you become signed . #9: Tell us a story about a day in your life: we all like to just chill out and write music our band kinda is spread out so when we do chill we chill hard ! #10: Who inspires you? The people who inspire us are all those people who doubt us ! #11 What are your Pet Peeves? Haters they just make us work harder to make them hate even more ! #12: Whats New in the Recording of your music? Oh boy we have 5 new songs that we have been writing we finally have our drummer finishing up the drums and this new music should be out towards the beginning of 2012 :) #13: Tell us about your next shows and why we should attend? our next show is gunna be a turning point for us we have fresh new members to the band brinning new life and energy to our live performance everyone should come out and come feel that energy for them selves it's fucking amazing !

A Deadly Wish is Metalcore band from Fontana, CA. The band is made up of five passionate youngsters who began their musical journey is 2009. Members Remy and Diego both play guitar, Remy on lead and Diego plays rhythm. Jeremy is on the the drums and Eddie plays bass. Jesse completes the group and leads the way with his powerful voice and lyrics. A Deadly Wish began in 2009, releasing an EP entitled “Through Pain Comes Glory”. The band played a few shows after the EP release, but the band fell apart and split up for a year due to commitment issues with some members. However, in late 2011 they picked up two new members (Diego and Eddie). “Diego and Eddie are the perfect addition to the group. They are both very creative and inspired by different styles of music, so they really bring a lot of creativity to the table.” After picking up the duo, the band started practicing twice a week mostly on Friday and Saturday nights. ADW is back on track, but this time they are in a new location. They are now based out of San Pedro, were they all share a house. Although they moved out of Fontana, they will never forget the inspiration they got from life in the city where they grew up. ADW finished 2011 playing local shows in the Inland Empire. They are currently planning to record two singles and shoot two music videos by the end of 2012.
