Portrait of The Rocketeers
The Rocketeers are a hip hop duo from Indianapolis, Indiana and Chicago, Illinois. The duo consist of Darius "D-Win" Windfield" (from Indianapolis,IN) and Lance "Johnny Rocket" Howard (Chicago, IL). The two met randomly of the bus about year and a half ago. D-Win just got off from a long day at work and got on the bus, and over heard Johnny Rocket talking to his sister. He was saying,"Man i wish i had some artist to work with, musically". D-Win over heard the conversation and from there they linked up, and would later become The Rocketeers. The Rocketeers have done shows at The Funky Buddah Lounge in Chicago, Fiesta Cantina in Chicago, Columbia College Chicago, Dusabled Museum Chicago, Florida Memorial University,Club Spin and Ugly Money in Indianapolis,IN. The Rocketeers are inspired by N.E.R.D, C.R.S, Outkast, and Gnarles Barkley.

The Rocketeers are currently working on the E.P, "Blue Clouds, White Skies".Which will be released in 2009. It will be released under there own independent label Rocketeer Music. Stupid Fresh and Saved By The Bell are the leading singles.

The Rocketeers was one of the best music groups on campus to have their song remixed on MTV Engine Room and they made a guest appearance on Episode 3 in 2008.

The Rocketeers : Voted Top 5 in the mtvU Woodie Award category for “Best Music on Campus” MTV reached out to The Rocketeers to use there song Stupid Fresh for there educational video game called Debt Ski.

The Rocketeers started working on new project coming out called "The Matinee". The first single is Feeling Good and they just released a video for the single
