CARLETT, a native of Mobile, AL is a singer/songwriter/vocal coach. She is the daughter of the noted singer/musician, Richard E. Martin. She relocated to LA and began writing/singing for various signed artists. She was signed to Mercury Records in New York with the girl group, “Female” and recorded songs for the movie, Black Panther. She has worked with Usher, KRS-1, C-Nile Da Frozen Child, Shaq, Kid Rock, Robin Thicke, Paula Abdul, Christina Aguilera, Hillary and Haley Duff, Susan Pomerantz, Shelly Pieken, Guy Roche, Francine Golde, Shanice Wilson, Portrait, As-Yet, Vybe, Keith Martin. Carlett had the pleasure of working with David Archuleta, American Idol, and many others who genuinely respect the craft of producing, writing, singing. She is affiliated with BMI as a writer/publisher, BoseArt Music Publishing. Carlett is now CEO of an independent record label, Black Creek South Entertainment, Inc. and Your Singing Voice, Inc. Carlett teaches one-on-one voice lessons to many talented students of all ages. She writes songs, produces and arranges vocals-all the qualities that inspire her to pursue her dreams and to share her experiences with those who appreciate it.
