THE BIG DRIFT's earliest roots began about two years ago when Jono Edwards and Noah Kaufman began recording music together. Eventually, they found a bassist in Pat Rooney, a drummer in Noah Stockman, and a percussionist to complement it all in Tyler Nesbit. After working hard and earning enough money from their gigs, they put it all towards their one common goal--an album. In September 2010, their debut album "The Big Drift" was finished. Now, the Boston based band has been picking up momentum by playing at places like Church of Boston, Cantab Lounge, The Greenbriar Pub, and Boston University events, amongst other performances. They were also featured on 92.5 The River's "Homegrown" segment in October 2010. The Big Drift present a rock sound with sweet elements of funk, reggae, blues, and even a little bit of country. Their popular tunes satisfy listeners of all kinds, and are sure to get the audience's heads bobbin' and feet movin'.
