Portrait of Ten 25
......Sometime in late October, let’s just say the 25th for a date, one man was standing around a barrel and banging it with a stick. This one man attracted more and more people during his evening ritual of beating this rusty old drum with a willow stick he had found in a nearby bush. Soon after his secret ritual turned public, he was joined by 2 men, one with a bass and another with a guitar. The three of them played every night while drinking a bottle of Jager between them, and they sounded great. TnT turned out to be the tub thumper because of his powerful blows that echoed throughout the calm eve. Jimo was the mastermind behind the Bass, the sweet music that flowed from his whapping on the strings was amazing. WW Arcade showed up with Jimo and they each complimented one another with their synchronicity during music making. WW was from a small music cult in North Dakota and music was his only way of life and how he and Jim got together will always be a mystery. The three of them performed for many passerbies and were accepted by all walks of life. One evening a couple of gents strolled by and watched the trio for a while, and were intrigued by the beautiful noise the trio could make and asked if they could join in with the ensemble. They were openly invited and JJ McQuade and Q were soon making tunes with the others. Q and his guitar which was more like an extension to his body with the ability to make it turn from a black cloud to a rainbow with a change of a strum, and JJ with a voice from the heaven's that could be heard throughout the village, the band ....TEN 25 was formed.....
