Portrait of Jessica Dye
Jessica has been mostly an underground ambient/acoustic artist making her music behind the scenes.
Starting from the old days of and moving herself through the tides, she has been playing out and collaborating with various musicians for years. Blue Prince was released by her current indie label ROA records in Orlando, Florida. This compilation of music is derived mostly from home recordings, with an emotional subtle drive.
While Sacred code is a bit more produced with added accompaniment such as soft flute, electronic drums and crafty string arrangements by co-producers Tyler Wehmeier and Monica Rabino.
The Sacred code has been out for several years and has drifted in such hands as djs in London, Alex Grey and the seekers of heartfelt emotive sound. Continuing with building her songs around her acoustic Guild, Jessica has been playing the guitar for close to 11 years.
Sometimes compared to dream-pop and something that might have been on 4AD...and a cross between spiritual and sexual.
Jessica is always evolving and elevating her musical journey. She has most recently released her 3rd album Mantle in Denver Colorado, where she currently resides. Expect the same spirit with a little more clarity. She is currently recording her next album at her home studio in Denver.
She is currently in a Denver based band called StillLight.
