Portrait of Restraint
Hard Rock/Metal band driven by emotion, aggression, and intensity. Restraint delivers high-energy live shows fueled by tasty guitar riffs, and passionate lyrics. "These are bad ass musicians with a wicked sound, and a magnetic stage presence that draws the crowd in for more" - Crystal 'Juggs Dread' Stumph of FARCU

The current lineup of Restraint is finishing up it's first year together. Newly added members Steven Clark/Drums and Andy Lee/Guitar were the final pieces of a puzzle almost 8 years in the making. Founding members Chris Lowry/Vocals and Bill Wald/Bass have seen two full length albums come and go. The band added Ben Ward on guitar for the writing and recording of the second full length album 'Worth the Risk'. With the lineup now complete, the band is tightening up new material, and amping up it's live show. With a very strong local following, Restraint is working on spreading it's name outside of Kansas City. Look for a new album to be recorded around the summer/fall of 2011. It'll certainly be turning some heads.

We take ourselves and our music very seriously, but we know nothing would be possible without our amazing friends and fans. You keep us going, and you are the reason we push ourselves harder and harder to get better. We have felt so much support since we were formed, and we love you and thank you for it.
