Portrait of TNC BOYS(TNC ACADEMY)
TNC BOYS AKA TNC ACADEMY is a Hip-Hop duo (TNC
Torcha and Hollygrove Mikey) well established in
New Orleans, La. Currently on tour promoting the
release of their debut album on ITunes titled
‘Taking Crowns’ and their sixth mixtape titled
‘United We Stand Divided We Fall’ are getting
great reviews. The TNC Boys have performed with
artists such as: Asher Roth, B.O.B, Wacko, PNC,
Skip, Raj Smoove and more. And have performed at
venues such as: Club Rocafella, Cricket Club, Red
Velvet, Blue Nile, LSU and The Key Club (in
California) Tulane, Loyola and more. In January of
2010, The TNC Boys started their own film company
titled ‘TNC Films’ and went on to film and
direct videos for many artists including
themselves. Their first video ‘Straight to the
Top’ collected over 24,000 live views on
worldstarhiphop.com and YouTube in only a week's
time and they're second single ‘Mic Hero’
generated a strong buzz also. In an interview, Mr.
Anthony Patton of Do-Wap marketing said that "TNC
Boys has a great talent, but what sets them apart
from the others is dedication, They're success can
be an inspiration to the youth of New Orleans that
hard work pays off". So with six mixtapes, a
catalogue of over two hundred songs, one album,
and enough music videos to fill up your DVR, I
think it's safe to say TNC Boys will be around for
years to come.
