Well! Hi, there! Thanks for having a listen!

There once was a drummer who overheard me singing, very quietly, a few lines of a song to a friend of mine, while sitting on the floor at a birthday party. Over his shoulder, he said something nice about my voice and the next day, convinced me to sing for his friend, Jay Ferguson (a founding member of the 60's band Spirit, then JoJoGunne, then had his own solo monster hit, "Thunder Island.")
Okay, so, after a first fab, fun ,studio singin' day, I decide that I'd finally found the perfect place to record a tribute tune to my dad, who loved country music -- which, being a tone-deaf Jew from Philly -- was mystifying to us. (The song on the CD that tells the why of that is: "The Tennessee Rifle Company.")
Well, Jay and I just had so much fun,and this sound was just so exciting to me, and the country springboard for it all was something I fell so passionately in love with that we just kept on going, and nine songs later, we had an album.
Now...if you were to take a closer look (say, maybe on my website:, I may be a familiar face from a checkered career as an actress in all sorts of different things...but that's a whole 'nother story altogether, and, frankly, I'm likin' this one a whole lot better.
For now, I'd just like to say, thanks so much: with all there is to do, and all the sites there are to see: I really do appreciate your taking the time to listen and read.
best and brightest,
