Judge for SkyMarshall Arts in Electronic Dance Music starting October 1, 2022

Hey there.

My name is Eirik Hafskjold, born and raised in the land of vikings - Norway - where I still reside. I've been producing music since the early 90's and are still at it from time to time.

I usually make music in the video-game category. I love to remix old nostalgic tunes I remember from childhood into something more modern and danceable. I like to use original vocals in my projects, and I both sing myself and hire in people to do it for me.

I would say you could put me in the eurodance / vocal and melodic trance category if you want to label it specifically.

I got my early start in music on an Commodore Amiga 500 in tracker-software such as ProTracker. I slowly advanced to PC using FastTracker 2.08, and as the years went by and technology advanced I finally ended up producing in modern DAW's using VST and external midi keyobards. Current favorite is FLStudio.

I've been part of many communities during the years, most notably Newgrounds, AmigaRemix and Remix64 and TraxxInSpace if anybody is ancient enough to remember such an internet relic.

These days I post my music to Spotify, as well as most of the other major and minor stores out there. I also nurture a small merry band of fans on Youtube.

That is all, and I hope you find something you'll like.

- Eirik
