SubDuction rocks out of Akron, Ohio and is quickly becoming a power to be reckoned with in the local metal music scene. Drawing on many influences, SubDuction strives to make every song sound different.
SubDuction gets the crowd on their feet and the horns in the air offering a high energy show with encouraged crowd participation. The SubDuction sound appeals to more than just the metal heads as the crowd also comes from hard rock and rock genres.
SubDuction’s music was born from hardcore metal roots and expanded when adding a female vocalist to the mix giving the overall sound it’s extra edge. They coupled a heavy hardcore metal sound with edgy, melodic vocals and came up with a version of metal that can be understood. That is what sets them apart in this genre.
SubDuction strives to be one of the best metal bands around and is consistently getting bigger shows and a larger fan base. They are heavily booked and are highly professional musicians ready for the next show. Lyrics can also be altered for All-Ages events.
SubDuction has come a long way since April 2009 playing venues such as The Outpost, Carriage House, Sadie Rene’s, JB’s, Cleveland Agora, The Shamrock, RocBar and Peabody’s. They have opened for national acts such as Otep, Kittie, Bury your Dead, Stemm, Bobaflex, Mushroomhead and God Forbid. They were invited to play at the Rock the Post Music Festival, Slave to the Metal Festival, Leroyfest, Carnival of Chaos and have appeared on the live podcast Band-Aid w/ Doc Rock in Cleveland. They have also made it into the Top 10 in the Hard Rock genre on Ourstage.com and were featured on Mike cameo's Indie Top 10.
