Portrait of Joseph A. D'Agostino

Joseph D'Agostino studied Music at Akron University and earned a Diploma in Media Composition from Music for the Media. After playing different styles of music in various venues he decided to focus on the film and media market.

"The Bat Cave" was a film piece that was written drawing inspiration from the movie Batman Begins. This has taken on a great life of its own at Ourstage.com winning the #1 spot in the "World " category for August 2011, February 2012, March 2012 and April 2012.

Also, "Tensions", has just won the #1 spot in the "All Instrumental" category for April 2012.

Working in this area brought certain challenges but all the same needing an outlet for the soul to be alive.  Turning his attention to writing songs with spiritual and positive messages has been the most recent inspiration. "Mercy Seat" and "Live for You" are the first offerings of the contemporary Christian venture. "I Will Worship" is the most recent song which is a song giving thanks for the gift of redemption.

D'Agostino believes that writing music with no particular bent in mind, as far as style, is the truest form of ultimate expression.
