Portrait of Street Made
Tek’Nique * 10 $tylez * Booke “Tha SPOOK” * Young Rippa*

STREETMADE, the group, consists of 18-year-old Twin Wonders: Tek’Nique & 10 $tylez, 19-year-old first cousin, Booke “Tha Spook”, plus long-time friend, 19-year-old Young Rippa.

The group began in 2002, after always being close since childhood. Rapping and making parodies to every hit they heard, these childhood family members began performing in local Cleveland talent shows, festivals, and entertained with the Cleveland Show Wagon Summer Bonanza for several years. The teens were born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and come from a family of musicians, singers, and entertainers. It wasn’t long after Show Wagon that the youths started writing original raps and making beats to perform in more shows throughout Ohio and eventually the South.

As youngsters Tek’Nique and 10 $tylez relocated to Huntsville, Alabama and began performing and networking with local artists while focusing on their lyric-writing skills. They met another young lyricist and officially formed the group STREETMADE in 2004 with writer Young Rippa, whom still resides in Huntsville but continues to contribute tracks and lyrics for the group.

Two years ago, Tek’Nique moved back to Cleveland and reconnected with Booke to continue the pursuit of exposure and publicity for STREETMADE. At the same time, 10 $tylez and Young Rippa remained in Huntsville performing at clubs and shows every week. However, in 2008, 10 $tyles joined Tek and Booke back in their hometown of Cleveland to complete their first mix CD and put STREETMADE on the map! Not to exclude another top player in the game, Young Rippa will be heard loud and clear throughout this CD, no doubt!

STREETMADE has won several of the contests they’ve entered, they’ve opened for several local and regional artists in Cleveland, Akron, Detroit, Huntsville, Decatur, Atlanta, Birmingham, Nashville, and Memphis including Chip tha Rippa, CTO, Big Al, Cupid, Slow Motion, and more. This group may be young, but they are a triple-threat to the industry: the group members range in talent from writing, performing, producing, and vocal arrangements. Every member has been featured on songs for well-known talents, as well as written for other artists. This is not a group to sleep on- STREETMADE is well-rounded and are in prime condition for the business. Their current focus is on going regional with their 2009 mix CD titled “Family Affair” and waiting for their BIG BREAK!
