Portrait of Wind's Will
Based in Orange County, California, the members of the Christian rock quartet Wind’s Will are intent on spreading the gospel through the gift of music. Formed in 2008, the founding members of the band (Dave Backes: drums / keyboards and Peter Salerno: singer / guitarist) were immediately offered a position to lead worship at a weekly contemporary church service and have also been hired to provide music for several Christian fellowship retreats in Arizona, California, and Washington. Now accompanied by bass player Robin Meza and guitarist / vocalist Emma Gibson, the group aspires to further spread the message of Christ by creating a prayerful environment, inviting a powerful and intimate connection with the Lord. Wind’s Will offers a dynamic blend of worship, utilizing Christ-centered and thought provoking lyrics along with vibrant, soaring melodies. Although a rock band at heart, the group explores a spirited modern worship sound ranging from humble and intimate prayer to powerful melodic praise. It is an honor and privilege for each member of the group to share the gift of worship wherever and whenever possible.
