Best known as the author of weird and funny books on dull subjects, I've been playing guitar and writing songs since the early Pleistocene era, but have never really promoted my music to you newfangled warm-blooded species. A few of my songs were on two CDs by Cottonwood, a Denver group I belonged to for about ten years. Luckily, I was seldom the lead singer
I don't really have a solo CD, I just made up the album cover for the fun of it. But I do have a couple hundred songs, and now I own a microphone and a Mac; it's a pretty short leap from there to a CD. But it would mean practicing, and recording, and all that, and I hear a glass of wine calling my name, so I make no promises.
On the other hand, one of my books is credited with inspiring all the books for Dummies and Idiots ("If this Idiot can write a book, maybe there's a market...")so every now and then that fabled Amdahl Drive surfaces
I tell you what, in all seriousness: it's fun to be on a site like this, and I thank you for listening. I've already heard some fine music here. I maintain links to music I like on my website and will probably have to add some of you folks to it
I live between Denver and Boulder, Colorado. Maybe we'll cross paths.
