Judge for Amirah

Amirah is truly a bonafide artist.  She is a published author, a yogi as well as a songstress and all of her artistic crafts are displayed in musical style.  Inspired by soul music, hip hop and early jazz and R&B legends the likes of Sarah Vaughn, Cassandra Wilson, Sade and Minnie Riperton, Amirah grew up cultivating her silky-smooth vocals by swooning along with her radio. She grew up in the DC Metro area, where she still performs on occasion.  For over a decade she has performed at several local venues including Bohemian Caverns, State of the Union, Takoma Station and festivals such as Artscape, and Art-O-Matic, to name a few.  Amirah has a fairy-like tone and presence that stimulates, heals and inspires.
