Boston, singer/songwriter Michael Maloney creates a blend of his favorite styles: Alt/Classic/Soft/Pop Rock. Double majoring in Music & Health Science at UMass Boston, he's raised $1430 the last 2 winters for Boston Children's Hospital, donating all the sales of his "Maybe This Christmas EP". Maloney plays every instrument on his recordings: guitar, piano, bass, drums, ukelele, and harmonica.

His Debut album "First Step", "Maybe This Christmas EP" and "Boston EP" are available on iTunes, Amazon.com, eMusic, Rhapsody, Napster, Spotify, Liquid Digital, and Zune.

Michael has performed at the Boston Hard Rock Cafe- Hard Rock Rising Contest 3/7/13, "Live!@BestBuy" Boston, Newburyport's YankeeHomeComing Festival, the Middle East Corner, Boston's Howl At The Moon, Boston City Hall's Arts at the Arcade, MDA's Labor Day Telethon, Boston's State House Christmas tree lighting, Woodstock 4 Boston, the Malden RiverFest, farmer's markets in Salem, Lowell, Cambridge, Medford, Malden, Winchester, Peabody, Arlington, and Union Square. Won 1st place for 105.7 WROR's Townie Tunes Contest for his parody "The Long & Winding Road to Medford" '07, winning $5,000, and was voted as 950 AM's "Irish Idol", performing at Berklee performance Center.

Michael is on an accompanist & singer for various churches on the north shore, & performs at nursing/assisted living homes/senior clubs. He has also been the Music Director for Citi Performing Arts Center's Summer Leadership Program for the past four summers, and has led other workshops for the last seven years.
