Taylor Daniel, 17, is from Memphis, TN, home of the Blues, Elvis Presely, Beale Street, B.B. King, Joyce Cobb and the list goes on... Ever since his parents could remember, Taylor was singing, everywhere and ALL the time. In fact, that is how he was discovered. By discovered, I mean the painter's girlfriend was hanging around the house when she heard him singing and told his mom that Taylor needed to really look into singing for his future, Taylor was 9. The rest is history (albeit a short history, remember, he is only 17). In the last few years, Taylor has shared the stage with some of the Jazz greats, Gerald Albright, Joe Lovano, Terence Blanchard, Herbie Hancock, Kenny Burrell and Kenny Lattimore to name a few. He has sung in venues from L.A. to Memphis. Taylor can be heard around Memphis performing solo as well as with his high school Jazz Ensemble, One Voice.
