I love singing. I love playing guitar. I love everything musical, but there's salvation in songwriting for me...I love the ability to paint mental pictures while crafting the works in my mind.
I came to Nashville in 1997, traveling with a Gospel group, and have spent most of my life directly involved in music, and a part of it in various ways. I worked eleven years in Country and Gospel radio, and have the opportunity now to work with a Dove Award-winning, Grammy nominated producer in audio production. So, while I have been around music most of my life, I still love the songwriting best.
My first commercially recorded song was a song I penned in High School called "The Table Grace Prepared," which was recorded by Grammy-nominated artist, Barbara Fairchild, on her project "Forever Friend."
I've enjoyed music as a way of life, and I have lived believing that the life of the singer is still the song.
